Talk on the Alexander Technique in everyday life

Tuesday, October 18, 2016 | 20:30 - 22:00

Free

Booking required.

This talk will be free as part of the events of the international Alexander Technique week.

The subject of tonight’s introductory talk
The Alexander Technique will certainly help improve the way you move, walk, sit and stand in  your everyday life.
It gives you the practical tools to check in real time during your daily activities if you are using yourself in a constructive or in an harmful way.

It will also help you adapt yourself to the passing of time and the changes in use that aging will inevitably bring.

It will help you become more aware of your limitations and how to become more free and aware of yourself.

Practical demonstration

An opportunity for you to experience the subtle Alexander touch which helps become more aware of habitual misalignments and tensions in the body.

Questions and answers

This is also the right place for getting the answer to any question about the Alexander Technique and its relevance to your particular domain of interest.

You are also welcome if you simply are curious and want to find out first hand about the Alexander Technique. Reading a book or watching videos without previous experience can be misleading and lead to misinterpretation as far the practical aspect is concerned.

Booking required
